Gregory Jones & Associates provides services throughout the Western United States.  Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, our practice focuses on California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona.

Who We Are

Gregory T. Jones has served in the public sector for over 25 years, holding various leadership positions in three cities after having served as an officer and air crew member in the United States Air Force.  Positions held include Risk and Benefits Manager, Human Resources Director, Deputy City Manager, Assistant City Manager and City Manager in Chico (pop. 100,000) and Hayward (pop. 160,000), California. 

Greg has significant experience in working with industrial and commercial land transactions and entitlements, and was responsible for improving and streamlining many of the entitlement requirements in the cities he served. 

In his roles both as a Human Resources professional and City Manager, Greg has been key to organizational change initiatives with a focus on hiring the right people for the right positions.  Change initiatives supported by development of new executive talent, performance planning and management and outcome-based budgeting strengthened Greg's expertise in these and other leadership areas.

Having extensive experience working with elected officials in developing organizational priorities and driving these priorities into operational work plans for the organization, Greg will help your team  and elected board do the same. 

Active in his local community of Hayward, California, he believes in community building.  Greg is on the Hayward Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Hayward Rotary Club Board of Directors, and is presently working on the development of a local industrial council within the Hayward industrial area, among other community activities.
